Try disconnecting the Microsoft 365 account from Windows via the steps below:
- In Word (or whichever app is causing the trouble) sign out of all your accounts by clicking on your user profile in the top-right of the app. Then close the app.
- In Windows Settings, disconnect your Office 365 account. You do this in Settings...Accounts...Access work or school... then clicking on the problem account and choosing 'disconnect this account'
- Restart your app and log back in with your Office 365 credentials. You'll be asked if you want to apply these credentials to all your apps. Go with the default option unless you know you have a strong reason not to. Doing so will, in the background, reconnect your account in Windows settings as well.
