If a user account is deleted from the Microsoft 365 admin center, and then a new account is created by using the user principal name (UPN) that was used by the deleted account. This may cause site user ID mismatches. It is recommended that you refer to this to troubleshoot your problem.
It is also recommended that you restore the user's OneDrive permissions and set a OneDrive retention period for them. During this period, you can save and download the files you need and upload them to your personal OneDrive.
