Restore AdventureWorks2022.bak Database in Azure Data Studio on mac m1

I had tried restoring the AdventureWorks2022 and 2019 .bak files in Azure data studio on mac m1 chip(sonomo 14.5). The restore button is not able to popup to click. SO it is unable to restore the AdventureWorks. bak files Screenshot 2024-06-17 at 2.23.43 PM

    In your screenshot I see you are not connected to SQL Server.

    Further is see you are in folder "Extensions" and I see "Preview"; are you using an add-in for restore? Which version of Azure Data Studio are you using?

    Connect to a SQL Server and try the build-in restore function.

    Issue: You are having trouble restoring the AdventureWorks2022 and 2019 .bak files in Azure Data Studio on a Mac M1 chip. The restore button is not popping up, so you are unable to restore the AdventureWorks.bak files.

    Solution: As you mentioned you resolved the issue. In document its shows that for apple silicon users i need to install some software called Rosetta 2. After installing it you were able to restore.
