Hi,
Since KB5039212 was installed I am unable to search within Azure for alert rules where the customer has a sizable number of alerts (e.g. where AMBA has been deployed)
If I search within the search bar
it errors out with STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION.
This happens with both Edge and Chrome,and happens in private/cognito. It also occurs for multiple Azure tenants.
I know of at least 1 other person with this issue,they said it doesnt happen with safari so it looks to be Chromium related.pageproblem.png

I have this same problem. I also get the message when closing the pane after viewing the details of a role in IAM > Add Role Assignment.

I have the exact same issues when trying to update Azure Network Security Group rules, its fine for a short while then re-appears until I restart the browser (Edge)
Also happening when I'm using Conditional Access in Entra. About every 2nd/3rd click causes the tab to crash with this same error. Takes out all my other Azure Portal tabs at the same time.

same issue here definetly seems like a chromium issue. No problems with firefox.
YMMV but tweaking the accessibility options in Edge corrected this. edge://accessibility then uncheck Web Accessibility (if you're able to and don't need it that is).
No more tab crashes (yet after 3 hours) since.

Is there a Chrome fix for this similar to the Edge fix? Having the same issues within Entra. Thanks
The Chrome fix is on the equivalent same page for it, chrome://accessibility

Disabling Web Accessibility has got this working for me
EDIT: I had to also ticket an option lower down, "Lock the current accessibility mode from being changed except by this page". There is some other app/extension/setting that kept causing it to be re-enabled.

This is only temporary solution as the "Web accessibility" option continually gets re-enabled, which causes many different Azure pages to fail to load correctly.

I had this issue as well.
I traced it back to the Grammarly app forcing these accessibility settings to be enabled on my new Windows 11 device. I never had the issue on Windows 7.
Other apps that need to interact with what is on the screen may do the same.
