Azure Global/Billing Administrator Role unable to access payment methods

Question

Hello,

I have an Azure aubscription of which I am the owner. I have added a secondary account for my financial officer to update our payment methods when necessary.

The added account is a "Member" account, and has Billing and Global Administrator roles assigned. Originally I only assigned Billing Administrator, but when that failed, I also assigned Global Administrator.

The "Payment Methods" section is still greyed out for this user under "Cost Management and Billing"

How can I grant access to update the Payment Methods for this user?

After assigning access to user, you need to also define the scope of access for the user.

For example:

• Azure account
• Management group
• Resource group
