Hi,

I have a vwan that I want to delete. First I tryed to delete the virtual connection network, then the hub and then the vwan. But this is not possble.

get-AzVirtualNetworkPeering : The Resource 'Microsoft.Network/virtualNetworks/VM-vnet' under resource group 'VNet-RG' was not found.

Remove-AzVirtualWan : Operation returned an invalid status code 'BadRequest'

StatusCode: 400

ReasonPhrase: Bad Request

ErrorCode: InUseVirtualWanCannotBeDeleted

ErrorMessage: Cannot proceed with the operation because Virtual WAN has references. The WAN is referenced by 2 Virtual Hubs and 0 VPN Sites.

I have the same problem. I am currently not able to delete my Azure Virtual WAN. I have the same error message as GertFichKjerslev-5836 wrote:

Remove-AzVirtualWan : Operation returned an invalid status code "BadRequest". I am also not able to delete the Azure Virtual WAN via the Azure Portal.

Thank you for your help, Philipp

Is there a resolution to this. I have the same/similar issue.

Unable to delete Virtual Wan because there is a Hub (fair enough need to delete the linked dependency) but I can not delete the Hub

Error: RouteTable rg-virtualwan-prod-001/providers/Microsoft.Network/virtualHubs/Hub1/hubRouteTables/defaultRouteTable'>Hub1/defaultRouteTable cannot be deleted because it has 1 associated and 1 propagating connections. Please first remove all associations and propagations.

There are no linked vnets, the hub shows no connections. In fact I went to the extreme of deleting all VNets in the subscription but can still not delete the Hub with the portal or powershell?????

Hi, are there any updates on this? I am also having the same problem. I created a Virtual Wan and I am not able to delete it, not even from the portal. There are no existing connections, but it is still impossible to delete the hub.
