Hololens 2 - 3D Viewer: Cannot display .fbx files

Hi,

I am working with the HoloLens 2 and would like to display a 3D-Model (format: .fbx). Unfortunately, when opening this file with the 3D-Viewer it says: "Sorry, this model is not optimized for Windows Mixed Reality"

I have opened the file on the 3D Viewer of my Microsoft Notebook an it worked. But on the HoloLens 2 this is not working. Do you know how to solve this issue?
Further information: I have downscaled the .fbx file to around 6.000 polygons and a file size of around 6MB. It is still not working.

BR

Simon

    Hello, Welcome to Microsoft Q&A,

Please try to use some third-party applications to convert and/or optimize your models. For the format about 3D model assets, it is recommended to use .glb file format and refer to this general guidance that includes triangle counts: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/mixed-reality/import-tool/optimize-models
