Microsoft 365 Busines Basic does not take E-Mails from outlook 2019i

i have stored my e-Mail from Outlook 2019 into the Documents on my Windowas PC. After installation Microsoft 365 Business Basic i cannot open these documents in Outlook 2019 AGAIN and even not in Microfoft 365 business basic. Why?

    Could you please confirm the file type you used to save these emails? (Are they .PST, .OST, or .MSG files?)

    You mentioned that you subscribed to Microsoft 365 Business Basic. It is important to note that this specific license only includes web and mobile versions of Office apps. It does not include the desktop version of Outlook.

    If you saved your emails as local files (like .pst or .msg), these formats generally require a desktop client to open. They cannot be opened directly via Outlook on the Web (browser), which is the primary tool provided in the Business Basic plan.

    Since Business Basic does not provide one, you will need to sign back in using your original Outlook 2019 account/license to open them. Alternatively, to use the desktop app with a subscription, you would need to upgrade to a license like Business Standard, which includes the full desktop applications.
