virtual void PostFilterProperties(System::Collections::IDictionary ^ properties);
protected virtual void PostFilterProperties (System.Collections.IDictionary properties);
abstract member PostFilterProperties : System.Collections.IDictionary -> unit
override this.PostFilterProperties : System.Collections.IDictionary -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub PostFilterProperties (properties As IDictionary)
Parameters
- properties
- IDictionary
The properties for the class of the component.
Remarks
This method provides a way to change or remove the items within the dictionary of properties that are exposed through a TypeDescriptor.
The keys in the dictionary of properties are the names of the properties. The objects are of type PropertyDescriptor. This method is called immediately after the PreFilterProperties method.
Notes to Inheritors
You can directly filter the dictionary that is accessible through the properties
parameter, or you can leave it unchanged. If you override this method, call the base implementation after you perform your own filtering. In addition, you must not remove items in the PostFilterProperties(IDictionary) method. Instead, change attributes to hide items. You may also remove items in the PreFilterProperties(IDictionary) method.
