SecurityTokenSerializer.CanWriteKeyIdentifierClauseCore Method

Definition

Determines whether this serializer can write the specified key identifier clause. Called by the base class.

protected abstract bool CanWriteKeyIdentifierClauseCore (System.IdentityModel.Tokens.SecurityKeyIdentifierClause keyIdentifierClause);

Parameters

keyIdentifierClause
SecurityKeyIdentifierClause

A SecurityKeyIdentifierClause that represents the key identifier clause to write.

Returns

true when this serializer can write the specified key identifier clause; otherwise, false.

Exceptions

keyIdentifierClause is null.

Remarks

Classes that derive from the SecurityTokenSerializer class must override the CanWriteKeyIdentifierClauseCore(SecurityKeyIdentifierClause) method. The CanWriteKeyIdentifierClause(SecurityKeyIdentifierClause) method calls the CanWriteKeyIdentifierClauseCore(SecurityKeyIdentifierClause) method.
