abstract member OnItemDeleted : System.Web.UI.WebControls.FormViewDeletedEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnItemDeleted : System.Web.UI.WebControls.FormViewDeletedEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnItemDeleted (e As FormViewDeletedEventArgs)
Parameters
A FormViewDeletedEventArgs that contains the event data.
Remarks
The OnItemDeleted method is called by the FormView control to raise the ItemDeleted event. It is generally used by control developers when extending the FormView class.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.
The OnItemDeleted method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors
When overriding OnItemDeleted(FormViewDeletedEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnItemDeleted(FormViewDeletedEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
