Microsoft office Excel 2021 with FSlogix 2.9.8228.50276

Question

We implemented a VDI solution with Windows 10 Ent, Fslogix 2.9.8228.50276, with the Profile Container active and storing the VHDX to an SSD storage.

However, we have noticed a strange behavior with the office tools, in particular with excel 2021. Randomly the files become corrupted, this situation is only happening with users with a profile stored in the VHDX.

In the fslogix logs we didn't find any errors.

I don't know if this situation has happened to some of you, if so how did you manage to solve it.

Hi,

Where did you open the files?

I suggest you check if the Administrator profile also have this problem.

You can also try to remove Office completely from PC and re-install it, download the tool to uninstall it: https://aka.ms/SaRA-officeUninstallFromPC

Hi,

The file is opened from a VDI with Windows 10 ENT.

The file is located on a network server with Windows also .

In an administrator profile or even a local user, this situation does not occur. It only happens to users using Fslogix as a profile manager.
