    Hello BETTY POLING,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum

I understand you wish not to use OneDrive service anymore.

What kind of subscription plan are you using? Is it annually or monthly? Do you use other Microsoft services that come with it such as Office?

OneDrive sync file from your computer. Because of it, files and pictures or information, receipts and manuals which are store in your PC is also going to be upload and store to your OneDrive. That explain why your OneDrive running out of storage.

It ties to your Microsoft account, so you can get out of it. But you can choose not using it function entirely on your computer.

Here is what you can do if you wish to stop using OneDrive:

First is to check what’s taking up all your OneDrive space.

    • Go to https://onedrive.live.com/ and see which folders/files are taking up space.
    • Often, the “Desktop,” “Documents,” or “Pictures” folders sync automatically.

Then move those files out of OneDrive

    • Copy files from OneDrive folders to a local folder on your computer.
    • After moving, delete them from OneDrive online to free space.

To turn off or uninstall OneDrive on your computer, please refer to this site:
