    Dear Jorja Salce,

Thank you for posting your question on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

If you have an issue with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), please ask for support from the Global admin in your school, who can assist you with resetting MFA as follows:

Go to Microsoft Entra Admin Center: https://entra.microsoft.com

    • Navigate to Users > All Users.
    • Select the affected account.
    • Go to Authentication Methods.
    • Click "Revoke multifactor authentication sessions" and then select "Require re-register multifactor authentication".
    • User's image

Once this is completed, you should be able to sign in again and set up MFA on your phone again.

I hope the information above is helpful. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out.

It sounds like you are experiencing issues with receiving notifications from the Microsoft Authenticator app for your sign-in process. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this:

    1. Check Notification Settings: Ensure that notifications are enabled for the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone. Go to your phone's settings, find the Authenticator app, and make sure notifications are allowed.
    2. Refresh the App: Sometimes, simply refreshing the app can help. Open the Authenticator app and try pulling down to refresh the account list.
    3. Use Recovery Email: If you are unable to receive notifications, you might be able to log in using a recovery email address. This method allows you to receive a code via email instead of through the app.
    4. Re-register Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): If you still cannot log in, you may need to contact your organization’s IT admin to reset your MFA settings. This will allow you to set up the Authenticator app again using a QR code.
    5. Check for App Updates: Ensure that the Microsoft Authenticator app is updated to the latest version available in your app store.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to reach out to your IT support for further assistance.
