Hi, I'm Bernard. I'm happy to help!

Since you always need to run an online repair, I recommend reinstalling the app itself to solve any app corruption, kindly follow the steps below:

Press the Windows key + R, then type in:

appwiz.cpl

Then hit OK

Look for the Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365 app > Right-click, then select Uninstall

Follow the prompts to uninstall your Office app.

Then reinstall your Office app by following the steps from the link below:

The issue indicates a persistent problem with the Office/PowerPoint installation that Quick/automatic repair is not fully fixing. Use a full Online Repair of Office from Windows 11 settings so the fix is permanent instead of repairing every time.

Follow these steps on Windows 11:

    1. Select Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features.
    2. Find the Microsoft 365 or Office product in the list.
    3. Select the More icon (three dots) next to it and choose Modify.
    4. When the repair window opens, choose Online Repair > Repair (not just Quick Repair), then continue and let it complete.
    5. After the repair finishes, restart the device and try opening PowerPoint again.

If PowerPoint still fails to open reliably after a full Online Repair, completely uninstall Office using the standard uninstall method, restart the PC, and then reinstall Microsoft 365/Office from the account page. A full reinstall is the next step when the installation is corrupted and repeated repairs are required.

Also, if the problem is only with certain presentations (not the app itself), check whether the file is blocked:

    1. Open File Explorer and locate the PowerPoint file.
    2. Right-click the file > Properties.
    3. If there is an Unblock checkbox/button, select Unblock, then Apply > OK.
    4. Try opening the file again.
