Windows 365 for Agents offers a pay-as-you-go pricing model with an optional monthly add-on for instant Cloud PC availability.
For batch and asynchronous workloads, such as those powered by Microsoft Copilot Studio, agents use on-demand Cloud PCs that are provisioned per task and billed based on actual runtime. For interactive, latency-sensitive experiences, such as those enabled through Agent 365, agents use always-available Cloud PCs that remain ready for immediate execution, with a small fixed monthly charge per Cloud PC in addition to usage-based billing.
Pay-as-you-go
For US Geography, the Windows 365 for Agents Cloud PCs are billed at $0.40 per hour for consumption. Usage is calculated as the total time spent running agent tasks on provisioned Cloud PCs within each hourly window, rounded up to the next full hour. A task is a sequence of operations that an agent performs to fulfill a specific instruction.
Always available
For US Geography, the Windows 365 for Agents always-available Cloud PCs are billed at a fixed amount of $5 per Cloud PC per month, which provides access to an instantly available Cloud PC for an optimal experience. This charge is in addition to any Pay-as-you-go based usage.
