Hello. There is an Excel file on the network share. It needs to be opened and edited by multiple people. Accordingly, when the first user opens for editing, he is blocked for the rest and when trying to open it, Excel will inform them about it and give the option to open for reading or notify them of the availability for editing. So here's the problem - the first user does not close Excel and enters data, at some point Excel believes that the editing is completed and gives access to another user without notifying the first user about it. The first tries to save his changes and gets an error because now another user is editing the file. I can not understand what provokes this behavior and how to get rid of it.

    Hi @Pavel.Dyachuk,

Did you enable the Shared feature in Excel?

I suggest you check users' permission for accessing the shared folder in Network.

Try to test the Administrator accounts for the shared folder.
