    Hi

    •,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

As I understand, you could see come difference in Storage Space Used metrics of Azure SQL Managed Instance.

Could you please share more information about this difference observed?

For instance, the screenshot taken is from Diagnostic settings, and from where you found and compared that it is different?

Note:Most metrics in Azure are stored for 93 days. You can query no more than 30 days' worth of data on any single chart. You can pan the chart to view the full retention. The 30-day limitation doesn't apply to log-based metrics.

Let us know what Time range have you selected to view this result?

Screenshot that shows changing the time range panel.

    Any filtering or splitting applied:

    Hi

The storage that you provision is the amount of storage capacity available to your Azure Database for PostgreSQL server. The storage is used for the database files, temporary files, transaction logs, and PostgreSQL server logs. The total amount of storage that you provision also defines the I/O capacity available to your server.

    For more details refer: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/postgresql/flexible-server/concepts-compute-storage

For deeper analysis for the difference you observe, you may file a support case.

Here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-portal/supportability/how-to-create-azure-support-request is how you can create request.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks
