How to fix: IEFrafme.dll module not found

We are attmepting to instute Windows Hello for business, and are receiving the following error when installing the Kerberos Server:

Set-AzureADKerberosServer : Unable to load DLL 'IEFRAME.dll': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)

Does this mean we need to install the "IEFRAME.dll"?

I have noticed you add "Microsoft intune configuration" tag. This community use tags to categorize threads. To clarify this issue, could you please tell us how did you instute Windows Hello for business? Then we will continue to discuss this issue.

I configure the attached setting for Windows Hello for Business in our Intune tenant.

I then attempted to run the following commands on our Windows 2019 Core Server:

Install-Module -Name AzureADHybridAuthenticationManagement -AllowClobber

$domain = $env:USERDNSDOMAIN

$userPrincipalName = "******@contoso.com"

$domainCred = Get-Credential

Set-AzureADKerberosServer -Domain $domain -UserPrincipalName $userPrincipalName -DomainCredential $domainCred

All except "Set-AzureADKerberosServer -Domain $domain -UserPrincipalName $userPrincipalName -DomainCredential $domainCred" run without issue.

I have checked, and "IEFrame.dll" does not exist on our server. Why is a no longer supported app required?

IS there an alternate way to configure the AzureADKerberosServer and link it to Windows Hello?WHfb01.png

Kenneth, did you ever get a fix for this, I find myself in the same situation and there's very little information that I can find, using PS remoting doesnt help and we find ourselves coming up against the same issue whatever we do. All of the DC's are Core servers so we are a bit stuck!
