I hope this not creates a second comment, but I cannot see the first one i posted.
I wanted to start to see if you have checked out the first steps for remediting them on MS learn, they have a good guide to get you started.
And to maybe add some additional information, is it one VM or all/many of your VM:s? Any 3rd party tool installed not on the defender for cloud supported list? That could be causing issues with defender for endpoint?
