Access Policies not available

I've assigned the user- Key vault secrets user role, however I'm unable to see Access Policy. Please see the image for error. Also, I'm unable to switch to vault access policy, it says- there was an error.

Hi,

You Key Vault is set to use Azure RBAC for giving access to Key Vault data plane instead via Key Vault Access Policies. Using Azure RBAC is now the recommended way so I would advise you to start using that way. Of course Access policies are not deprecated and you can set your Key Vault to use Access policies instead of RBAC. Switching back is done via access configuration tab on the Key Vault resource.

Access Policies are the older method of managing data plane access.

You should instead go to Access Control (IAM) in the Key Vault menu.

This is due to the permission model config;

Hello,
I'm having a question relating your response, you wrote "Of course Access policies are not deprecated".
Is it planned into some Azure plan to decommission Access policies ? If yes could you tell the dead lines ?

Hi ,
As you can see from above screenshot ,when i tried to change the policy to Vault access policy and then click on Apply , i am getting the above error.
How do i enable it ??
