Mine was a group policy set to "create" drive mapping vs "update"

EDIT Expand USER CONFIGURATION > PREFERENCES > WINDOWS SETTINGS > DRIVE MAPS

    Hello, @Vulquin !

Why is Windows Explorer closing by itself on Azure Virtual Desktop?

There are a number of reasons for this that make it hard to diagnose over the forums so we may have to look directly at your resources, however I reached out to the Azure Virtual Desktop team and the symptoms you have described (relating to AVD with FSLogix) point towards a possible sharing conflict of the profile itself.

    Troubleshooting:

    • Are you enabling read-only or read-write profiles?
    • Have you tried to configure concurrent profile access?
    • Have you ensured that FSLogix profile logs are enabled and are there any errors there?

If those don't point towards a cause, then we'll need to look at your resources in order to determine what is happening. Please email the following to AzCommunity@microsoft.com and we'll get back to you promptly:

    Solution (provided by Vulquin):

the problem came from the network drives mounted via GPO the GPO was safe to replace and I set it to Update and since then no more disconnection problems.
