New Teams crashes when trying to log in (Mac)

Hi! When launching the new Microsoft Teams app on my Macbook M1 (Sonoma 14.5), the app doesn't work beyond the log in screen.
When I open the new Teams, I can click on my account to sign in, but when I click, a screen quickly pops up and closes again. Nothing happens. I am able to log into other accounts, the account where this happens is the one that is part of an organization.
- I already uninstalled and reinstalled the latest Teams
- I also deleted all cache credentials
I have not been able to use the Teams app for weeks now..

Thanks for reaching out. I've redownloaded the new Teams, but the exact same problem is occurring, there seems to be no progress. When I click my icon, a pop up screen quickly appears, disappears, and nothing happens.
How to proceed?

2024-07-18T05:19:25.09+00:00 Teams deployment updates will be completed after a day. Have you tried to use new Teams recently and still have this problem?
Please try using the Teams web client and contact Phone support to further resolve your issue.
