Something was changed in the past week and I can't resize snippets anymore when they are pasted into emails in Outlook on the web (365). They keep coming out very large (offensive and distracting - not good for business). I've tried to resize in OneNote and then re-paste, but this is not a viable option in this busy world or my insanely busy job (no time for that). There must be a way to resize it in Outlook.
Previously there was a dashed line around the snippet that would appear and you could easily resize it, but that has disappeared. Now there is a solid gray box around the snippet that appears to be unmovable.
Also, even if I resize the snip in OneNote and all looks good in my email before I click send, the sent email still has gigantic snips in them (resized after sending to extremely large). Again, this is horrible for business. I've started warning customers when sending snips so they are not offended.

According to my research, it seems that recently there is no option to dynamically resize images in outlook for web. As a workaround you may consider using outlook for desktop for now.
Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future. @Faery Fu-MSFT - Thank you for your answer, and I'm sure this will help some people, but I manage a very large & busy, shared email box and due to it's size/age/number of people who have had access to it over the past 15 years, the Outlook Desktop App crashes every time I try to use it, so this solution will not work for me. My IT dept has given up on trying to get the desktop app to work better for me saying Outlook Desktop App cannot handle our large shared email boxes.
I'd love for Microsoft to fix both this resizing of images pasted into Outlook online (365) & also please fix the desktop app so it can handle very large shared email boxes, as I'd love to use the app due to it's expanded features.
Also, I have concerns about accepting this as a solution since it's not a solution that works for me, and therefore this is likely not a solution that will work for some others, since I'm sure there are others who also can't use the Desktop App, for similar reasons (doesn't work for some users with less frequent job responsibilities/circumstances/large shared email box that has had many users and has existed for over 15 years-Desktop App cannot handle this email box and crashes every time I try to use it).
