Why are Windows app (Win32) apps not apart of Intune Policy Sets?

Currently following the guidance in this document (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/fundamentals/policy-sets) shows that the only apps available are as follows;

  • Windows MSI line-of-business app
  • Web link

Is there a reason why Win32 apps are not on there and is there anything anywhere to show Microsoft are developing it into their plans for Policy Sets due to it currently saying (Preview)?

Also, is there more information on the Policy Sets view other blogs?

    @Jack Fields Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

    Generally, new features are listed in the following link:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/fundamentals/whats-new

    And the develop features are listed in this link:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/fundamentals/in-development

    Based on my check, there is no plan of adding win32 apps in Intune Policy Sets. Given this situation, if you are interested in this feature, it is suggested to post in intune feedback portal. It is a place to collect customers' questions and requirements. Here is the link:

    Thanks for your understanding.
