Hello,

When someone else sends me an e-mail, I do receive their e-mail in my inbox. But, I also receive the same e-mail in my junk box with 'FW: (******@hotmail.com) The recipient's mailbox is full and can't accept messages now. Please try resending your message later, or contact the recipient directly.'. Also, the one who sends me the e-mail also receives this message, noting another e-mail (and thus not my e-mail??) can't receive their mail. I checked and my storage is far from full. Can you please help, cause this is very annoying, especially for people who are e-mailing me.

    Hi Kayleigh,

According to my search, if you are receiving that when you send to another person, they will need to delete some of the mail in their mailbox.

Which means that there is a storage limit set on the recipient's mailbox, and it is currently full.

If the recipient is hosted in the same organization as you, the issue can be resolved either by:

    • Deleting messages (deleting messages with large attachments via OWA or Outlook client)
    • Increasing their mailbox limits.

If the recipient is hosted outside of your organization, contact the recipient directly and provide their mail administrator with the bounce back message.
