- Recreate the Outlook email profile.:
Go to the Windows search bar and type regedit. This will launch the Registry Editor. Then, navigate to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Profiles (Outlook 2019,2016) Restart the computer. Relaunch Outlook and recreate your email profile.
Open Outlook in safe mode and disable all add-ins. If Outlook works well in safe mode, then this issue is caused by add-ins. To confirm which add-ins is the cause of this issue, you can re-enable add-ins one by one until this issue occurs again. To open Outlook in safe mode, right-click the Start button > click Run > type Outlook.exe /safe, and click OK.
