We understand you're locked out of your UNISA profile due to "too many attempts" with the Microsoft Authenticator app, these lockouts are often temporary and automatically expire after a certain period.
First, please do NOT try logging in again until you've spoken with UNISA's IT, as repeated attempts may extend the lockout period. Then, please find UNISA's IT Helpdesk/Support Contact Information to ask for support or they can follow this article to proceed to reset your 2FA so that you could re-register again: Manage authentication methods for Microsoft Entra multifactor authentication - Microsoft Entra ID | Microsoft Learn
After UNISA's IT has reset your MFA or unlocked your account, you will likely need to re-register your Authenticator app, please make sure your Microsoft Authenticator is updated to the latest version and readd your account.
