Outlook 2019 Pro Plus is not using the new UI interface

Outlook 2019 Pro Plus is not using the new UI interface. Opening Outlook after installation and adding email addresses Outlook shows in classic mode. I prefer the new mode. How to I change the UI from classic to new?

Following a thorough review of your inquiry, we regret to inform you that the New Outlook user interface is not supported in Outlook 2019 Pro Plus. Please allow us to explain the reasons and offer alternative solutions: 

• Reasons: 

1. Outlook 2019 Pro Plus is a perpetual license product. As such, it only receives security and stability updates, and does not benefit from new feature enhancements. 
2. The New Outlook UI is exclusively available in the Microsoft 365 subscription-based version of Outlook for Windows. This version is continuously updated with the latest features and design improvements. 

• Recommended Solution: 

To access the New Outlook interface and its associated features, we recommend the following steps: 

1. Subscribe to Microsoft 365, which includes the latest version of Outlook for Windows. 
2. Install Outlook from your Microsoft 365 account. 
3. Upon launching Outlook, locate the “Try the New Outlook” toggle in the top-right corner of the application window. 
4. Enable the toggle and follow the on-screen instructions to switch to the new interface. 

 Kindly notes: 

• The New Outlook offers a modernized design, enhanced performance, and improved integration with other Microsoft 365 applications. 
• Please be advised that certain legacy features, such as VBA macros and COM add-ins, may not be supported in the new version. 
• Additionally, if you are using a Microsoft account with a basic (free) subscription, you may access Outlook on the Web, which features a user interface consistent with the design of the New Outlook.
