Hi,
When I open Yammer (Engage) email notifications in Outlook, the application crashes and restarts. This issue affects everyone in my department.
It's working on OWA :(
We are all using Outlook 2019.

I am trying to cause a local repro as well. Does the crash happen on all the notifications from notifications @yammer.com or is it specific ones? I'll post back when we know more from the investigation.

There is another scenario that sending emails from Power Automate will also cause the crash, https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook_com/forum/outlk_win-outtop_classic-outsub_ofb/email-send-by-power-automate-start-an-approval/a3123ec6-978a-4b68-95e5-349111bbace2?messageId=02c10145-c535-4f1a-b318-14563bae0dda. I verified the crash bucket this customer shared maps to the same crash shared in this thread.

In the meantime, I posted a Known Issue to formally track it, https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/outlook-ltsc-2019-2021-crashes-opening-viva-engage-yammer-power-automate-and-other-emails-ca49b0b3-8d42-4864-80df-df06069cc172. Once I get more updates I'll post back and update the Known Issue.

- Click Help & Support and type a quick description about your issue.

2025-06-04T13:54:46.3166667+00:00 Could you share the crash event from the Windows Event Viewer. Open Event Viewer, go to the Application Log. Look for Event 1000 and Event 1001 at the time of the crash. It would help the most to have the Event 1001 event if you can locate it. It will be a Windows Error Reporting event at the same time as the Event 1001. If you can locate that please post the crash event.
It will probably be in the crash event but what build of Outlook are you using (File, Office Account, under About Outlook).
