Hi @Emily Gwynn,
I understand you're concerned about missing emails from the period when your payment information needed updating (May 23 - June 4). Let's see what might have happened and what you can do. Assuming that you are using a business account, unfortunately, the emails that were sent to you are not recoverable:
Because if your license expired and you are using a business type account, your exchange online license will be disabled and you will have no mailbox, which in turn, make the senders can't sent any emails to you and they will receive a NDR or bounce back message:
- This unfortunately means the emails likely did not reach Microsoft's servers. This could happen if the payment issue caused a temporary suspension that prevented delivery
- In this scenario, Microsoft would not have a copy of these emails, and they are not recoverable in any way or form.
- The only way to get these emails would be to contact the senders and ask them to resend the messages they sent between May 23 and June 4 (Your best bet).
Let me know if there are any new issues arise or if you have any questions, ping me back in the comments below. I hope you will be getting back your missing emails soon!
