I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing slow send/receive emails issues in Outlook and problem has been occurring for about 1-2 weeks with no progress. I’d love to help troubleshoot this further, but first, I’d appreciate a bit more information to better understand your situation:
- Are your recipients you try to send or receive email coming from other domains (other providers) or same domain or both?
- Which version of Outlook are you using? Is it the Outlook Web App, Outlook on desktop (Classic or New), or the Outlook mobile app? If you're using Outlook on desktop or mobile, could you please check whether you're running the latest version of the app. Additionally, you may also want to try the Outlook web app, you can access it via https://outlook.com. This can help determine whether the issue is specific to the app or more general.
- If you are using Classic Outlook, in many cases when you sent your emails, are there any emails you have sent that end up in the Outbox?
- You mentioned this issue occurred about a year ago as well. Do you happen to recall how long the issue lasted back then?
- What type of account are you using to sign in to Outlook? Is it a personal account or a business (work/school) account? If it’s a business account, is this issue affecting only you or are others in your organization experiencing it too? Also if your organization has been using Microsoft Exchange Online and you are the IT admin that can access Exchange admin center you may want to go to Message trace and track your sent/received emails it contained the trace of an email that may be helpful.
