Thanks for sharing the details! Try to enable PSD thumbnails inside Photoshop

Photoshop itself controls whether it embeds a thumbnail in the PSD. If this is off, Windows can’t show previews at all.

    Do this:

    • Open Photoshop
    • Go to Edit → Preferences → File Handling
    • Set:
Maximize PSD and PSB File Compatibility → Always
    • Click OK
    • Re-save one of your PSD files

    Important:

Old PSDs will not show thumbnails until they are re-saved after this change.

See if this helps. If you need further assistance just let me know.

    Best regards,

    Kimberly

It seems that the issue with PSD thumbnails not displaying in File Manager could be related to the settings or capabilities of the Windows operating system. Unfortunately, the provided context does not specifically address PSD files or their thumbnail display issues. However, here are some general troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Check File Associations: Ensure that PSD files are associated with an application that supports thumbnail previews, such as Adobe Photoshop.
    2. Clear Thumbnail Cache: Sometimes, clearing the thumbnail cache can resolve display issues. You can do this by going to Disk Cleanup and selecting "Thumbnails" to clear.
    3. Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure that your graphics drivers are up to date, as outdated drivers can affect thumbnail rendering.
    4. Use Third-Party Software: Consider using third-party software that can generate thumbnails for PSD files if Windows File Manager does not support it natively.
    5. Check Windows Settings: Go to Settings > System > Storage > Temporary files and ensure that "Thumbnails" is checked to allow thumbnail previews.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to consult the Windows support community or forums for further assistance specific to PSD files.
