Hi all

Is there a roadmap to release a cluster with a higher kafka version than 2.4.1 in the near future?

Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

Unfortunately, we don't have any information/ETA regarding the cluster with a higher Kafka version than 2.4.1.

Appreciate if you could share the feedback on our Azure HDInsight feedback channel. Which would be open for the user community to upvote & comment on. This allows our product teams to effectively prioritize your request against our existing feature backlog and gives insight into the potential impact of implementing the suggested feature.

Regarding service general availability, I would suggest to keep an eye on Azure updates.
