How it works
When a customer clicks on a pinned call extension, they're directly led to a call option (on phones) or a QR code they can use to call your business (on computers). You may either use your own phone number or, for tracking purposes, a Microsoft Advertising forwarding phone number.
A Microsoft Advertising forwarding phone number is a unique phone number that's routed to your business's phone number. With a Microsoft Advertising forwarding number, you can track all calls from your ad so that you can analyze the ad's performance.
To get a Microsoft Advertising forwarding number, an ad group within a campaign using call extensions must have at least ten clicks and $10.00 in spend in the last 30 days.
Note
If this condition isn't met, the number used won't be a Microsoft Advertising forwarding number.
If a forwarding number is used, you can access reports that provide details like call duration and missed calls on all calls your ads have generated.
Any calls you receive from ads that are clicked are charged per click, similar to regular Search ads.

Note
Pinned call extensions are not available for Property Promotion ads.
You can enter one call extension per campaign.
From the navigation menu on the left, hover over Campaigns and select Ads & extensions > Extensions.
Select the campaign for which you’d like to create a pinned call extension.
Select Create.
Enter an eligible phone number.
Under Mobile format, select Show both my website and the phone number.
Note
Choosing the other option will cause the pinned call extension to experience loading issues.
Select Save.
