hi there,

does anyone know what the "red dot" infront of a contact on the skype for business contact list means?

i have a tiny red dot after the status indicator (online, busy, in a meeting, away, offline, out of office), but before the name. but i have no clue what it means.

help is very much appreciated. thanks.

Thanks Toby for your reply. I have found out what it means. If someone books an appointment and marks it as "out of office" then the - indeed - purple dot appears. So it is not an automatic reply, but the status of the appointment itself.

Thanks again.

sorry the screenshots did not work. i try again:

i mean the dots before the name, they actually on my laptop screen look kind of purple but before on my monitor they seemed to be red...

they keep changing as well, so people who had a dot before their name an hour ago, do not have one there now...

    Hi Timo,

    Thanks for your clarification.

It means that this user has enabled the Automatic replies. You can do a test on your side to check if the dot appears in your account.

    Regards,

    Toby
