What is the definition of household for purposes of subscription sharing?

Can I share the subscription with my sister, who doesn't live in my house?

I didn't see anything in the license description that clearly defines a household.  E.g., what if a member of your household, such as a grown child, is living at college or in another physical residence?  Could that child be considered part of your "household"?

    Hi Giordano,

As per the Microsoft Software License Terms for Office Consumer Subscriptions, Office 365 Home Premium subscription can be shared by members of the same household. For more information on the same, refer to the following link:

    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/products/microsoft-software-license-terms-for-office-FX103453735.aspx

You should be able to share the subscription with someone outside the household, but it is not recommended as it is in violation of the EULA.

For more information on how to share Office 365 Home Premium, refer to the following link and check if it helps:

I hope the above information helps. If you need further assistance, you may reply and I’ll be happy to assist you.

    Thank you

You wont get a legal definition here.

Some peoples have defined household as members of your immediate family, the 'nuclear family'
