I'm excited to introduce myself as an academic supervisor specializing in Artificial Intelligence and applied research. My primary mission is to guide master's and PhD researchers towards the successful completion of their degrees. To enhance the quality and impact of their AI-focused projects, I'm eager to harness the potential of Microsoft tools and platforms.

In my exploration, I've come across several Microsoft resources that could prove invaluable to PhD candidates, including the Microsoft Research PhD Fellowship Program, Microsoft AI Platform, Microsoft Research's AI and Machine Learning Page, and Microsoft Research's Academic Programs. However, my quest for knowledge remains open, and I'm here to seek your valuable insights.

Specifically, I'm keen to gather your recommendations on:

  1. Additional Microsoft Tools for AI Research: Are there lesser-known tools or platforms within the Microsoft ecosystem that you've found particularly effective for AI research projects? Expanding my toolkit with your suggestions could greatly benefit my students' research journey.

    Is your university using Microsoft Academic Licenses?

    Another resource you can reach out to is the Microsoft Education employee that is having your university under its set of accounts. That person would be able to align you with the necessary resources, or other researchers that may have the same interest as you. You might want to contact the IT department of your university to find out more information on their liaison person within Microsoft for your country.

    In your list, you might also want to look at the Microsoft OpenAI Service as well
