Today, I received an email stating, "Your OneDrive is out of space." I was certain that could not be true because I use approximately 250GB, and the storage limit was supposed to be 1TB. However, upon checking, I discovered that the storage limit is now 100GB instead of 1TB. I asked my classmates about this issue, and as far as I know, no one else is dealing with the same problem. What should I do?

I mailed to the IT admins about the situation but as I mentioned before my classmates have not encountered such a problem.

So, the decrease in the OneDrive for Business storage for user account should be related to license assigned to you i.e., Office 365 A1 customers.
In this situation, I would like to suggest you connect with your IT admin of your Education Institution and share the above blog to them to know about the recent changes in Microsoft 365 Storage for the Educational Institutions, and request them increase the storage of your OneDrive for Business by changing the license.
Moreover, the IT admins of your Education Institution can connect with the related Microsoft phone support team via creating a new service request from the Microsoft 365 admin center, where they can provide the complete details on the recent changes affect to your Education Institution.
