i get a mail stating that my Microsoft 365 developer subscription is going to expire on

the mail is as below:-

We noticed that you haven't used your Microsoft 365 developer subscription for development activity.

  • Subscription ID: **********.onmicrosoft.com

This trial subscription is for development use only. If you use your subscription to develop solutions for Microsoft 365, it will automatically renew for another 90 days. Otherwise, your subscription will expire on 1/19/2024 (UTC). Your administrator access, your subscription, and all your data will be deleted on 3/19/2024 (UTC).

To avoid subscription deletion, we encourage you to take advantage of your developer subscription to develop solutions for Microsoft 365 products and technologies, including:

  • Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint web add-ins
  • SharePoint
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Microsoft Graph

To get started, see Microsoft 365 developer documentation.

Thank you for your membership in the Microsoft 365 Developer Program.

The Microsoft 365 Developer Program Team

please someone tell me how can i keep my developer subscription on.

Due to some personal reason, I can't check this email which was sent to me on 30 dec.

how can I renew this for another 90 days and save my content from getting deleted?

is there any way.

    HI,

My developer account has been terminated. I can't log in anymore. When I try, it says: "You don't have access to this". I thought that if I was a developer my subscription would be renewed automatically. My Github account is linked to this account though. What is happening ? Couls you help me understand please ?

    Have a good day

Seems Microsoft is removing all free developer accounts and pushing us to upgrade to a paid one via Visual Studio Subscription (45$ pm or you can pick yearly plan).

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/developer-program/join-with-visual-studio

Their response to these developer programs is getting worse day by day, and termination without valid reason. Even if there are several development operations ongoing on the account, they say that they are insufficient for renewal.

    Hi Ashraf

My subscription expired and got deleted due to my sudden inactivity. I had changed city, job etc. and didnt get to use it on my laptop for some time.

The data was deleted automatically on Feb 1, 2024. Pls guide me how to request for a new subscription. Whenever I go to the Join Developer program, it just takes me to my dashboard where it shows me that expired sub page. No option to reapply for it there.

    Hello,

Could you clarify what "valid development activity" is? I am running into the same issue. I've been using my subscription for a year and it auto-renewed several times until this last round. I've been using it to test Azure/EntraID this whole time, so I'm unsure what changed.

Thanks for any guidance on helping me keep my subscription before all my data is deleted.

    Jordan
