Hi,

I am new to Microsoft viva modules, i need to configure, deploy and customize viva modules for one of the client.

And what licenses do i need to implement the above and if for example the company has 300 users/employees if they want to use these viva modules what licenses do they need.

If we have O365 E3 license is this enough to perform all the above.

Thanks

    Hey There,

We cannot find any instruction about the providers.
We would like to integrate Viva Learning with our LMS system, but when we try to add a Provider, the only option we have is Sharepoint.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/viva/learning/use-tabs#manage-providers-configuration
Also, No clear explanation about what license might be required and how to set things up (except for the per user/Per month).
We are not planning to use Viva learning but would like to have several videos from Microsoft Support website on our LMS:

Any Suggestions how we can solve this?

    Dear respected Siva Prasad3,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

As per your description, to configure, deploy, and customize Viva modules, you need to understand the licensing requirements because each module of Microsoft Viva may have its own set of licensing requirements.

Here's is a different Viva modules and their general licensing requirements:

    Viva Topics:

To use Viva Topics, users typically need a Viva Topics license. It's not included in the general O365 E3 license, so you would need to purchase it separately(requires a Viva Topics license, which is an add-on to many of the Office 365 and Microsoft 365 plans).

    Viva Insights:

For the personal insights available in Viva Insights, an O365 E3 license is sufficient. However, for advanced insights and analytics that extend to the organizational level, an additional Viva Insights license might be required (to access advanced insights and analytics, an add-on for Viva Insights may be required).

    Viva Learning:

To access the basic features of Viva Learning, an O365 E3 license might be enough. But for a more comprehensive experience and integration with a learning management system, additional licensing might be necessary. To unlock the full capabilities, an additional Viva Learning subscription might be required.

    Viva Connections:

This is generally available at no additional cost for valid O365 E3 license holders(no additional cost).

For a company with 300 users, the licenses required would depend on which specific Viva modules they intend to use. Each employee who will use a Viva module will need the appropriate license for that module, except for Viva Connections, which may be included in their existing O365 E3 licenses.

Appreciate your patience and understanding and thank you for your time and cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    Waqas Muhammad
