SharePoint online Check In / Check-out banner missing(in office files) for a user when trying to edit a file

HI SharePoint online Check In / Check-out banner missing(in office files) for a user when trying to edit a file for a single site. User is able to click on the Files->ellipses->More then ->Check out (works) But when user opens the document in client app no Check In / Check-out banner. Only one user impacted , works for other users

    @Xyza Xue_MSFT : The issue is resolved now as the user had the file stored on OneDrive hence was not able to see the Check-in/check out option.

    Hi @Romila baretto ,

    Since we can't reproduce your situation, we need to narrow down the problem and try some things.

    1.Try to remove the permission of the problem user and add it again (Library level and file level).

    2.Jumping into 'Classic Experience' (link at the bottom of the left quick launch)/Library setting->Advanced setting->Classic experience User's image

    3.Try to use a different browser or your browser's InPrivate mode to see if the same error occurs.

    Issue Symptom:
