    Hi @Cynthia Blalock,

Good day! Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I understand you're trying to forward only particular messages within an email conversation, rather than the full thread. I'm happy to assist!

By default, Outlook displays related emails grouped in Conversation View, which can make forwarding a single message a little tricky. Fortunately, with the right steps, you can forward just one email from the chain.

I'd suggest trying the following steps:

1/ Open Outlook and navigate to your Inbox (or the folder containing the conversation).

2/ Enable Conversation View (if not already enabled):

    • Click the View tab on the ribbon.
    • Check "Show as Conversations", then select This Folder.

    3/ Expand the Conversation Thread:

    • Click the arrow next to the thread title to reveal all individual messages.

    4/ Identify the Specific Message:

    • Locate the exact message you want to forward by reviewing sender, date, and content preview.

    5/ Forward the Message:

    • Right-click on the desired message.
    • Select Forward.

    • Outlook opens a new email with just that message attached or in the body.

    6/ Complete and Send:

    • Add recipient(s), include any additional notes, and hit Send.

    Notes

    • If your view is not grouped by conversation, you may already see individual messages listed separately, which makes forwarding simpler.
    • You can also click directly into any individual message and choose Forward from the toolbar.
    • Be mindful that attachments or inline images from previous emails in the thread won’t carry over unless they were part of that specific forwarded message.

Please let us know if you need further clarification or assistance. I really appreciate your patience and look forward to assisting you further.

We hope you have a great day!
