Hi Jim,

It is available with a usage limit, and only for the person who is paying for the subscription, not for family members.

    Copilot is available for free via copilot.microsoft.com or the mobile app, but this version only supports chat-based AI and doesn’t integrate with Word, Excel, Outlook, or other Microsoft 365 apps.

    To use Copilot inside those apps, a separate paid license is required. The Family plan doesn’t include this, and shared members won’t have access even if the primary account holder purchases it.
