Why do I have multiple versions of Windows Desktop Runtime installed?

Win 10 Pro x64. UCheck alerted me to an update to Windows Desktop Runtime 32-bit today. When I looked at Revo Pro, it shows six versions installed, five x64 and one x86, going back to 2023, as shown in the screenshot. Why all the versions? Shouldn't one uninstall another or, without saying so, is that left to the user to do manually? And is an x86 version of this necessary on a x64 machine? Thanks,

Hi, good day! I'm John Dev a Windows user like you and I'll be happy to assist you today. I know this has been difficult for you, rest assured, I'm going to do my best to help you.

Installing different programs may require different versions of the runtime, and removing older versions may result in crashes or other issues with those programs, so it's best not to remove them. When an update is installed, the old version is not always replaced and new versions of.NET are frequently installed while previous versions remain unaltered. Because they support apps that run on different architectures, you may see both x86 and x64 versions installed.

I look forward to receiving your update and I'm willing to collaborate with you till we resolve the issue. Do keep me informed.

    Kind regards,

    John DeV
