    Dear @Rebecca Otterson

    Welcome to the Q&A Community.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. Based on the details you've provided, this email appears to be a phishing attempt.

    • The sender domain support.aemaestroship.ca isn’t a verified Microsoft domain. Legitimate Microsoft emails usually come from @microsoft.com or @email.microsoftonline.com.
    • The message uses urgent language and calendar invites to pressure you, common phishing tactics.
    • It includes suspicious links or attachments like “View Attached Portal”, which often lead to fake billing sites.
    • The email lacks personalization and references multiple questionable addresses.

Please avoid clicking any links or opening attachments. Instead, report the email in Outlook by selecting it and choosing Report > Report phishing from the toolbar or menu. Once reported, you can safely delete it.

Always verify the sender’s domain and watch for urgency or poor formatting. If you're unsure about your subscription, log in directly at https://account.microsoft.com/services

If you're a Global Administrator for a business or education account, you can also check billing via the Microsoft Admin Center.

Thanks for your detailed answer @Ruby N

I am wary of deleting the diary entries, even though they keep popping up annoying reminders and I just want them gone. And they are replaced with a new one soon enough.

I mean, what is the point of this stuff? Is it to distract people from what they are supposed to be doing? What does it achieve apart from keeping the support forum busy?

When I click the trash can, seen top left of the diary invite, it pops up a "delete and decline" prompt, which is why I didn't want to click on it.Capture3.JPG

Is it worth blocking the sender's email address, or do they use a different one each time.

    Many thanks

    @Ruby N

I get similar emails, and there is also a diary event placed in my calendar.

The timeframe for the diary event is usually one week.

If I delete the diary entry, the pop-up window suggests it will delete and send a decline message.

Does the sender see the decline notification?

I'm concerned that the sender now knows this is a live account because of the decline message.

    Many thanks
