What do these arrows and other icons, that copilot adds to the top of every email mean? They are not in every email. Just some. Some point up. Others point down. Some of the emails are external, some are internal. Please see screenshot below. Any feedback is appreciated.

    Hello DP,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A and raised your question. The arrow that Copilot put up next to your email usually indicating:

    • The up arrow: Indicates that a reply is recommended or the email would require urgent attention or high priority
    • The down arrow: This suggest that the email is low priority or informational and you can address that email later
    • External tag: Marks the email that is coming from an external source/sender to help identify messages from outside your school/organization
    • Internal tag: Marks the email that coming from someone inside your school/organization

The reason that the arrow does not show up on every email is because Copilot actives on long email, type of sender, the urgency status. If the email is short and do not have any specific keywords that relevant to your role, task then the arrow may not show up.

I hope this will clear up any confusion while applying Copilot with your email/messages.
