Minecraft won’t launch after pressing play button on minecraft launcher
After pressing launch the launcher just exists and the game itself wont launch. waited over 10 minutes. also not able to open back launcher until i close minecraft from the task manager

1 - Repair or reset the Minecraft Launcher
- Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features.
- Find Minecraft Launcher, click Advanced Options.
- First, click Repair. If that doesn’t work, click Reset.
2 - Update Microsoft Store & Xbox Services
- Open Microsoft Store > Library > Get Updates.
- Ensure Xbox app and Gaming Services are updated.
3 - Run Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
- Select Windows Store Apps and run it.
4 - Clean Reinstall Minecraft
- Uninstall Minecraft Launcher.
- Delete these folders: %appdata%.minecraft %localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftLauncher_8wekyb3d8bbwe
- Restart your PC and reinstall from the official site.
5 - Run Launcher as Administrator
- Right-click the Minecraft Launcher > Run as administrator.
- If this works but skins don’t load, create a new Windows user account and try again.
6 - Check Permissions & Antivirus
- Ensure your user account has full control of the .minecraft folder.
- Temporarily disable antivirus or Windows Defender and try again.
