    Hi @Griffin, Brandon, @Tor and @David, Anjanetta,
Thanks for the response from you all.

I'm not sure if your situation is the same as David's, but as Tor mentioned in their comment, you can reply using the quotation mark. Microsoft recently updated the Teams UI, and the "Reply" feature now appears as a quote to some users, which could cause confusion. In newer versions, you might see an arrow icon or a quotation next to the reaction icons instead of the "Reply" text, which was used in older versions. You can also check the visual examples I shared with David to see how this feature appears differently depending on your Teams version and platform - whether you're using the web app, desktop app, or mobile.

For example, here is the arrow:

    or "Reply with quote"

This feature is only unavailable in channel posts. The option will be completely hidden from you.

Although Microsoft continues to roll out updates and introduce new capabilities for Teams. You can follow its development and upcoming features on the Microsoft 365 Roadmap | Microsoft 365

    Hi @David, Anjanetta,

Thanks for reaching out to Q&A Forum.

Regarding your questions about the "reply" feature in Teams, may I ask you a few questions to narrow down the issue?

    1. Are you using Teams on desktop, mobile, or web? If it's on desktop or mobile, then which version are you using?
    2. Which operating systems are you currently using (e.g., Windows, macOS, etc.)?
    3. Is this happening in a chat, group chat, or channel conversation?
    4. Are you using a personal account (@gmail, @outlook.com, @hotmail....) or an organization/school account (@@youredu, @yourorg)...?
    5. Do you see the "reply" icon when you hover over a message like this?

    User's image

Or you didn't see the reply text:

Please feel free to provide any additional information you deem as necessary. Screenshots of the behavior is much appreciated. Once I have more information about your issue, I'd gladly assist you with more accuracy.

Note: Please understand that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

Thank you for your patience and your understanding.
