I have a single-user tenant with MFA, but I can't access MFA because I lost my phone and haven't registered it with the new one.

I don't have an alternative method to the phone (app).

HI,

In this case you will need to call the support desk global numbers - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/global-customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2

Please provide details of the tenant and valid identification details for this. Always create a backup account and save it for this kind of situations.

Hope this helps.

Hi Joaquin Molina, thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Q&A.

From your description, it appears that you’re currently unable to access your Microsoft account due to an incomplete multi-factor authentication (MFA) setup. Since you lost your mobile device and you are not able to restore the MFA app on your new device and you no longer have access to the Authenticator app, you’re unable to complete the sign-in process.

The First thing that can be checked is, check whether you have any other verification methods set up previously.

For personal Microsoft accounts (@outlook.com, @hotmail.com, etc.):

Try signing in at the Microsoft Account Security page: https://account.live.com/proofs/manage

After entering your username and password, you should see if options like SMS, a backup email, or security questions are available. If nothing shows up, you’ll need to go through the account recovery process.

Please let us know, if any further assistance needed.

    Thanks
